Every alpaca on our shirts is one of ours.

They do spit. Not at people, usually — mostly at each other, over food, and with impressive accuracy. Anyone who keeps them has been caught in the crossfire at least once.

This one lives on our farm at Mulgoa, in western Sydney, and walked past the camera looking entirely innocent. Photographed here, not bought from a stock library.

Printed on an AS Colour Staple Tee in black — 180 GSM, 100% combed cotton. The shirt isn't alpaca; the alpaca is on the shirt. Alpaca is a beautiful fibre for socks and knitwear and a poor one for a t-shirt, so we haven't pretended otherwise.

Sizes S to 2XL. Printed to order in Australia and posted direct.

The AS Colour Staple Tee. Enduring comfort in a regular fit, crafted from 180 GSM 100% combed cotton. Featuring neck ribbing, side seams, and double needle hems for durability and minimal shrinkage, it's a timeless choice for comfort and style. Available in 70+ colours. Built to last.

Why Alpaca Fleece is a Smart Investment

Insulative

Naturally warmer than wool yet lightweight and breathable, keeping you comfortable across seasons.

Low Lanolin

Alpaca carries very little lanolin, which is the part of sheep's wool a lot of people react to, and at the same micron it sits smoother against the skin.

Dries Faster

Alpaca takes up less moisture than sheep's wool, around 8 percent regain against roughly 16, so it feels less clammy through the day and dries faster afterwards.

Eco-Friendly

Alpaca fiber is an eco-friendly choice. It is a renewable and biodegradable material that requires very little processing to produce.

Built to Last

Designed as "slow fashion" essentials, these pieces resist trends and can last for decades with proper care.
