Every alpaca on our shirts is one of ours.

Cria stay close. For the first months of its life a baby alpaca is rarely more than a few steps from its mother, and this pair — one of ours at Mulgoa, in western Sydney — spent the whole afternoon proving it. Photographed on the farm, not bought from a stock library.

Printed on an AS Colour Youth Staple Tee in white — 180 GSM, 100% combed cotton. The shirt isn't alpaca; the alpaca is on the shirt. Alpaca is a beautiful fibre for socks and knitwear and a poor one for a t-shirt, so we haven't pretended otherwise.

Kids sizes 2 to 16. Printed to order in Australia and posted direct.

Regular fit, crew neck, mid-weight, 180 GSM, 28-singles, 100% combed cotton (marles 15% polyester). Neck ribbing, side seamed, shoulder to shoulder tape, double needle hems, preshrunk to minimise shrinkage

• Lay an existing t-shirt flat.
• Body Width: Measure 3cm below armpit, from one side to the other.
• Body Length: Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the t-shirt.
